About us

Pyramid Gallery is a privately owned shop and gallery in the heart of medieval York, close to The Minster. Established in 1982, Pyramid offers one of the country’s finest selections of British made contemporary crafts, jewellery and original paintings & prints.

On two floors of a National Trust owned fifteenth century building, the work of up to 150 British craft makers and artists may be viewed and purchased. Displays are constantly changing and the two first floor galleries are used for regular exhibitions.

We have a core website which lists the work from current exhibitions, and jewellery showcases. This website concentrates on some of the smaller pieces that we have collected over the years.

We're a small team here and we are always so excited when we manage to pair people with the perfect piece.

You can find us from Monday to Saturday at 43 Stonegate, York, YO1 8AW.

Here's Terry Brett, owner of Pyramid Gallery and writer of the Pyramid blog which is full of information about the gallery and upcoming events.
